David Blanken created HouseDoctor2 to educate the public. David created his Construction Management course called “Build Your Own Home” in 2004 and teaches it at PG Community College in Maryland.

“I saw this need to educate the consumer when taking on building their own home. When taking on this project many clients do not have the necessary tools to negotiate the best price. My job is to give them those tools”

David’s building career started in 1973. From 1986 until 2006 David’s reputation as a quality home builder was second to none. His creative touch with interior design is what gained him the reputation his clients were after.
